Lit Paintings capture a sacred, fleeting quality of light—incandescent and transcendent. The sun and moon are our idols; we have always looked up in wonder and awe. These works reflect a longing to remain forever in their glow. Original oil pastel paintings by Jean Pelle are encased in solid bronze frames and gently spotlit with a miniature LED to heighten the effect.
