How do I contact PELLE?

Where can I see the studio’s work in person?

PELLE has a showroom gallery located within the main studio at 55 Ferris Street in Brooklyn, NY 11231. We welcome visitors by appointment Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30am and 5:00pm. To schedule your visit, please call 212-645-2602 or email sales@pelledesigns.com. We also offer studio tours for architecture and design firms. Please contact us to learn more.

PELLE’s work is represented by several authorized dealers throughout the world. Please visit our Dealers page and contact us to inquire about current work on display at any of these locations.

Do you offer trade pricing?

Yes, we offer trade pricing for trade and industry professionals. Please contact sales@pelledesigns.com for more information.

Where are the light fixtures made?

All of our lighting is made in our Brooklyn, NY studio by our own team of skilled builders and artisans. Our team specializes in light-building and the special production processes of our products. Artwork, such as casting, coloring, drawing and painting, are created by Jean Pelle and are therefore unique. Additionally, we work closely with a small network of expert, New York-based metal and wood fabrication professionals.

Are your light fixtures certified?

Yes, PELLE is a UL-certified, OEM lighting manufacturer. Most of our lighting products are UL-listed for the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and are CE-listed. Certain certification exceptions apply. Please check the specifications of each product.

When will I receive my light fixture?

Each PELLE lighting fixture is made to order. Production lead times vary depending on fixture type, finish and order quantity, and are quoted at the time the order is placed. For example, a Bubble Chandelier may take 8-10 weeks, while a Lure Chandelier may take up to 20-24 weeks. Please contact sales@pelledesigns.com for the most current lead times.

We also offer rush ordering and usually have a limited stock of items available for quick shipping. Please contact sales@pelledesigns.com to inquire about lead times, availability, and rush orders.

How do I clean my light fixture?

Maintenance instructions vary depending on the lighting fixture collection. Your order always ships with a detailed product guide that explains the preferred cleaning methods. Please feel free to reach out to sales@pelledesigns.com for more information about the collection(s) you are interested in.

How do I change the light bulbs in my Bubble Chandelier?

The Bubble Chandeliers use clear, globe-shaped LED or incandescent light bulbs with E26/E27 screw base. There is no shade or diffuser involved. Simply unscrew by hand to replace a bulb. To avoid getting fingerprints on the surrounding glass, we recommend wearing cotton or nitrile gloves when changing light bulbs.

Replacement bulbs for the Bubble Chandelier can be purchased through most online light bulb suppliers. PELLE also sells replacement bulbs, plus shipping costs. Please contact sales@pelledesigns.com to discuss your replacement bulb needs.

When will I receive my furniture?

All our furniture is made to order. Production lead times can vary between 12-20 weeks depending on furniture, size and customization. In-stock furniture pieces are available in about 2-3 weeks. Please contact sales@pelledesigns.com if you would like to discuss any custom variation and most current lead times.

How are PELLE items shipped?

Most lighting fixtures ship via FedEx Ground unless otherwise specified. Larger fixtures that require wooden crates will be shipped via our preferred freight handler. Shipping for these larger fixtures is quoted based on the exact shipping address and current freight rates.

Most furniture depending on size and delivery address will either be shipped in wooden crates or are carefully handled by a preferred white glove delivery service. Shipping for furniture items is quoted based on the exact shipping address and current freight rates.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, PELLE ships its products all over the world. Crating and delivery charges are quoted based on the fixture specified and the exact shipping address. Terms for international shipments are FOB: New York and the consignee will be responsible for any duties/taxes associated with clearing customs.

What happens if items are damaged during shipment?

All items are carefully inspected, then packaged prior to shipment. Damage claims must be reported with documentation at the received location within 10 business days of delivery. PELLE is not responsible for repair or replacement of items damaged during installation or mishandling of the item. Please contact sales@pelledesigns.com for assistance with damaged items.

Does PELLE accept returns?

Due to the made to order nature of our products, PELLE is unable to accept returns or cancellations once an order has been confirmed.
