Oliver Pelle’s Hopper series draws on an early fascination with the abstract language of structural engineering. Intricately handcrafted from aluminum and glass tubes, the compositions resist recognizable forms and conventional typologies, becoming objects that exists between structure, sculpture, and light. Deliberately open-ended, the Hopper works invite interpretation.
