From the curatorial team (curator Georges Zigrand and assistant curator Charlotte Masse):
In reference to our industrial heritage of the steel industry in the greater region of Luxembourg, the exhibition showcases the metal transformation techniques and th way the material is used today, from craft to cutting-edge technology, in art and design. Under the curatorial proposal of Georges Zigrand, a selection of about 20 artworks and editions by international designers & artists will be present to illustrate these processes, accompanied with photographs and films.
Included works by: Ron Arad, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Stefan Diez, Tom Dixon, Konstantin Grcic, Thomas Heatherwick, Max Lamb, Philippe Malouin, Maarten Van Severen, Muller VanSeveren and others
The exhibition ran from June 18th through September 4th, 2022.
